Sydney Film Festival welcomes back the Screenability program, produced in partnership with Create NSW and FACS (Department of Family and Community Services).
“It’s our platform for screen practitioners with disability to tell stories. This international program showcases the best of 2018, spanning drama and documentary from Australia, Israel, Austria and the UK, offering unique world views on life.”
Sofya Gollan, Guest Programmer.
Screenability opens with three great NSW made short films, developed through the Create NSW Screenability Filmmakers Fund. SFF gratefully acknowledges Vivienne Selwyn’s generous support of its Disability Inclusion Action Plan.
We acknowledge Australia’s First Nations People as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, and pay respect to the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, upon whose Country SFF are based.
We honour the storytelling and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.
