Meet the Filmmakers- 'Caught Inside'

1 of 1

Description

We catch up with Director Adam Blaiklock, Producer Paul Friedmann, and Actors Daisy Betts and Ben Oxenbould who fill us in on the making of their new Australian Thriller 'Caught Inside' screening as part of the Freak Me Out pathway of the 2010 Sydney Film Festival.

'Were all going to have a great time,' Skipper Joe (Peter Phelps) tells the four eager young men and two unexpected women whove shown up on his boat The Hedonist for a twelve-day Maldives surfing cruise. 'But there's one thing that can blow it, and that's when a [expletive] ruins it for the whole team.' But theres one in every crowd, and the one in Caught Inside is Bull (Ben Oxenbould), a harmonica-torturing loose cannon whose meltdown precipitates a holiday thats anything but dead calm.

Known for his commercials and shorts The Existential Cowboy (winner of a Dendy Prize at SFF 96) and Four-Minute Festival, director Adam Blaiklock has all his knives in the water with his feature debut, a gripping web of sun, surf, sexual chicanery and suspense.

World Premiere.
