Description
'Mabo: Life of an Island Man' is the 1997 Australian documentary film on the life of Indigenous Australian land rights campaigner Eddie Koiki Mabo. It was awarded Best Documentary at the Australian Film Institute Awards as well at the 1997 Sydney Film Festival.
In this series of photos the cast and family of Mabo receive the Best Documentary Award on stage at the State Theatre along with director, Trevor Graham.
